I told my boss Jeannie last week. I was a little concerned telling her so early, but I figured with the doctor’s appointments and me feeling so crappy, it would help if I was honest. Many of my pregnancy books say tell the boss first if telling her won’t have a detrimental impact on your work.
Boy, was I surprised at her reaction when I told her – She shot out of her seat and started screaming, mind you it was 7:30 in the morning, and jumping up and down and crying. Hugs galore! She’s so great, so supportive and such a great friend. I think she wins for the best reaction probably because I wasn’t expecting it!
