After trying desperately to come up with a few free days to road trip it to DC to share the good news in person with my dad, John and step-mom, Susan, we came to the conclusion that an in person announcement wasn’t possible.
We broke down and called them on Friday night. They were sooooo excited for us. I just wish we could have told them in person, but Frank’s schedule and the upcoming carnival put a huge wretch in those plans.
Susan, the most fun loving person I know, immediately named our newest addition Oscar or Cleopatra… not sure if those names will stick, but they sure are fun!
We’re going to plan a weekend trip this fall to see them.
